WesTrac Cat’s Global Operator Challenge touched down in Tomago, bringing together some of the finest machine operators from across the state in a showcase of skill, precision, and pride for the construction and earthmoving industry.
Among the crowd was Andrew Moussa, founder of Groundlvl, who was personally invited to document the day’s excitement and energy. Known for his ties within the civil construction and heavy machinery space, Andrew captured the event through a professional lens — highlighting not just the machines and challenges, but the people who power them.

he NSW round of the Global Operator Challenge served as a local qualifier for a prestigious international event hosted by Caterpillar. Operators competed in a series of timed, technical challenges designed to push their finesse, accuracy, and control to the limits — all while operating some of WesTrac’s most advanced Cat machinery.
The atmosphere was electric, with crews, families, and industry professionals coming together to cheer on competitors and celebrate the world-class talent the Australian construction industry has to offer.

The winner of the NSW round now moves forward to represent the region on a national stage — with hopes of making it all the way to the global final.
